House and flat clearance in Ninove

- Do I have to sort or take anything away myself?
- No. We take care of the entire clearance, including sorting and removal.
- How much does a house clearance cost?
- That depends on the property: its size, its contents and how easy it is to reach. That is why we always start with a free site visit. You then receive a clear, tailored quote with a fair, fixed price.
- How long does clearing a property take?
- That depends on the volume and on access: a flat with a lift is not a full house with a cellar and an attic. We look at that together during the free site visit, and the quote sets out what we agree.
- Do I have to be there during the clearance?
- You do not. We agree in advance who holds the keys and who is present. Afterwards we go through the result together, or you receive a handover report.
- What happens to things that still have value?
- Whatever you want to keep, you point out during the site visit: we set it aside or leave it where it is. If we find money, jewellery or papers while working, we keep them and hand them to you, with a list.
- Is a container needed, and may it stand on the street?
- If the size of the job calls for it, we arrange the container. If it has to stand on the public road, the municipality's permission is needed; during the site visit we agree who applies for it.
- What about asbestos or hazardous waste?
- Asbestos, chemicals and other hazardous material are not part of an ordinary clearance. If we see or suspect any, we list and price it separately in the quote; where there is danger, we stop the work until it can be done safely.
- Will I receive an invoice?
- Yes. Our services carry 21% VAT; the quote states the amount both excluding and including VAT, so you know in advance what you will pay.
